Brent Henry
Academy Senior
Brent was accepted into the highly competitive Institute on Neuroscience (ION) summer-long research program. This is an 8-week paid internship for students who excel in science and STEM. The ION scholars will be learning about neuroscience through hands-on activities, working with post-doctoral students, and conducting their own research.
Six Academy students won the Regional Science Fair and were awarded the opportunity to compete at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair (GSEF) in Athens, Georgia. Nicholas Alexander was awarded 1 of 4 spots out of 700 state-level contenders to advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). He will be going to Los Angeles, California in June 2024.
